Major Expansion for R.P. Machine
In addition to its existing 160,000 square-foot headquarters in Statesville, North
Carolina, R.P. Machine Enterprises, Inc., has broken ground on a new 40,000 square-foot
facility. The additional space will be outfitted with two 20-Ton Overhead Cranes
through the entire length of the building. The expansion will allow the company
to bolster its current activities while pursuing encouraging new markets.
“This expansion will aid in the development of the G&E gasher line used
in manufacturing key components for wind turbine power generation,” according
to Richard Piselli, the company’s founder and president, “so it’s
a must in terms of helping us stay at the forefront of this growing industry. The
new building will also house our high-precision worm and worm wheel division, while
also providing the space required for retrofitting oversized gear machinery.”
With an extensive inventory of reconditioned equipment, R.P. Machine also offers
CNC retrofitting services, custom gear cutting, and experienced service technicians.
